BikeChip
The BikeChip is specially designed for Mountain Bike and Cycling events. The transponder is bigger and stronger. The specially designed housing assures that there is a specific minimum distance between the transponder and the metal of the bicycle-frame.

BikeChip or ChampionChip ?
Because the components of the ChampionChip System have improved considerably over the years, it is now possible to use the Classic- and Logo ChampionChip for Mountain Bike and Cycle events. The ChampionChip can be worn on the ankle with an ankle strap, or on the shoe by tying it to the shoelace.
Clips
The Classic- and Logo ChampionChips can also be attached to the bicycle. However, this is only possible when used with a specially designed clip, because a minimum distance between transponder and metal is needed. The ChampionChip can be mounted to the bicycle in different places, depending on the Clip used by the event:
- In the middle of the bike, on the frame
- In front, on the hub of the wheel
